A good friend of mine has her birthday celebration this Friday, so I made a Build-a-Blossom in pink and black for her. The 2nd card is another one with the same Blossom punch. I love the possibilities with this punch and stamp set.
I sell cards at It's Just Between Friends Co-op in Durand and these graduation cards are created with Durand High School colors of Royal Blue and White and their mascot the Bulldog. I need to make some for Dakota grads as well. I just need to find a good Indian mascot.
Fabulous Florets is a new stamp set from Stampin' Up! I used Rose Red for the flowers, fussy cut them out and layered over the leaf and stem. I paired it with Wild Wasabi and dry embossed the card base with the Tulip folder and pin dots. Spring is definitely here!
A group of Red Hat Ladies are meeting up in Durand on May 4 for a day at the It's Just Between Friends Co-op. I made a card with Cricut's Kate's ABC's cartridge just for these ladies. If you have any young girls in your family, you will love this cartridge as it's all things girls.
This card came together quickly by embossing in white two flowers from Vintage Vogue. Sponge inked with Baja Blue around the flowers. Stamped smaller flowers in Baja Blue and then stamped vines in Pacific Point. The Big Shot was used to dry emboss the pin dots. This technique was found on Dawn Griffith's Stampin' with Dawn.
A few more cards made with the Build a Blossom punch. I inked the edges of the petals with a sponge dauber, then shaped the petals with a bone folder. I used Rose Red ink on Pink Pirouette paper from Stampin' Up!
My granddaughter, Zoey, is having her first birthday in May up in MIchigan. Her theme is 'Lady Bug Picnic'. I love lady bugs and I hope she and her parents like this banner and streamers I made for her. I used Cricut Just Because Cards for the Lady Bug and Nursery Rhymes for the font.
Good friend Pam came down from Madison and showed me a new technique. The stamp is embossed in white and then hand painted with H2O Paints. It was fun trying this new technique!
I was so happy how my Easter projects turned out. I used DCWV Nana's Nursery paper, Accent Essentials, and Plantin Schoolbook. The sign was cut at 5 1/2", flowers were 3" and 2". Card and envelope cut at 5 1/2".
Naaman and Issac had their 1st birthday and we celebrated in Michigan while they were home from China. They are moving home in May, so we are very excited about this news.
